Not all training providers are the same! So how can you find best training provider for you?

First you need to correctly identify what your skills gap is. Do you need a particular qualification or just general skills training? Once you have identified the skills gap you can research the most suitable qualification or training to fit it.

The best way of doing this is online using the internet using a geographical search, e.g. “plumbing courses in Lancashire”.

If you then have a choice of training providers you can then compare the training providers:

> What are the facilities like?

> Is it easy to get to?

> Do the staff have recent industry experience?

> What is the success rate? i.e. do people who complete the course get good grades and go on to good works?

> How do trade or other organizations rate the training provider?

> How much does the course cost?

> When is the training provided? One day a week or full time?

By asking these basic questions you can quickly find the right training provider for you or your business.
